    Here's a great opportunity for a Broker of Record at one of Maryland's top Keller Williams locations right now! For a full-time Broker to join this dynamic and collaborative office in Frederick, MD as well as the office in Columbia, MD, there is an exciting role available that requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, great organizational skills, and the capacity to manage multiple critical requests. The ideal applicant will be well-versed in KW systems and business models, and they will have a demonstrated history of success as a leader (though this is not a must). It is imperative to relocate to the MD market. Compensation: • Salary range: $60,000 bonus for the head broker, sub-broker compensation negotiable • All licensing fees paid by the market center Responsibilities: Compliance • Ensure all transactions are in compliance (whether that be personally or through the staff team) • Check compliance several times a day including evening hours (listings, under contracts, signs, postcards, flyers, etc.) • Keep abreast of current regulations and changes by attending classes, broker meetings at the Board of Realtors, and reading literature and updates from the MLS and State, and then disseminate information to the market center • Ensure agents complete their CE credits and pay their dues in a timely manner • Act as the representative for and the liaison between the market center and BCP concerning all lawsuits and complaints. Report all such instances in a timely manner • Research rules and regulations as needed by agents • Consult with agents needing guidance on how to handle certain situations, compliance issues, etc. This would include being available to agents for urgent matters on weekends and evenings • Ensure agent marketing is up to current guidelines and approve collateral, such as mailers, billboards, business card signage, social media ads, etc. Education • Teach classes as needed, including but not limited to How to Write a Contract, How to do Listing Paperwork, How to Host an Open House, How to Utilize the MLS, and How to Stay Out of Real Estate Jail • Host a “Broker Moment” at every Team Meeting to discuss current topics or updates • Send a weekly email to the market center for education on compliance and any important updates • Secure instructors to teach CE credits in the market center Qualifications: • Hold a license as an MD broker • Have experience in sales or commercial real estate • Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset, be forward-thinking, skilled at problem-solving and negotiating, and has a talent for winning over customers. • Possess a team-focused attitude • Work together with support personnel and other brokers to make sure the firm succeeds at all levels. Compensation: $60,000 yearly
