    BVP is an INTENTIONALLY DIVERSE network of tuition-free public charter schools. As a founding member of the National Coalition of Diverse Charter Schools, BVP offers a high-quality school choice to the families of Central Falls, Cumberland, Lincoln, and Pawtucket.

    EXPECTATIONS FOR THE CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANTS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 

    • ROLE REQUIRES THE PERSON TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION (MILEAGE REIMBURSABLE)
    • Frontline point of care representative for the district testing program. 
    • Provide SARS-CoV2 testing and basic health services to students when they are at school. 
    • Conduct specimen collection for SARS-CoV2 testing using nasal swabs, rapid, or antigen tests as needed. 
    • Assist with screening symptomatic students for SARS-CoV2 in support of school health care staff. 
    • Under the supervision of the Registered nurse, assist with preventive care by educating students and staff on how to prevent the spread of communicable diseases and viruses. 
    • Train and supervise people on the collection of specimens using nasal swabs and saliva tubes as necessary. 
    • Train people on the proper use and wear of PPE. 
    • Provide basic healthcare to students in case of injury or illness; 
    • Report test-kit and PPE consumption rates, transportation of specimens to testing sites. 
    • Role requires strong organizational and communication skills. 
    • Able to assist with data entry of students’ vaccination records
