InterMetro Industries is seeking full-time Production Associates for our Sheet Metal Fabrication Department. Associates in these positions prepare sheet metal stock for application to finished product. Job duties vary within the Fabrication Department and are interchangeable.

Required Skills

• Operates saws, sanders, punch presses, press brakes, turrets, and minor assembly and packaging operations.
• Verification of part dimensions within stated tolerances using a variety of measuring equipment.  
• Meeting production and quality standards.  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervision or Management.
• Cleans and maintains work area.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Required Experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintains regular attendance.
• Experience working in a team-based environment.
• Basic computer skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings or technical drawings.
• Ability to use common measuring systems and measurement tools.
