Member Solutions Specialist I
Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for performing collections activities associated with various delinquent member accounts, including Visa credit and debit cards, lines of credit, secured loans, signature loans, real estate loans, and home equity lines of credit. Sends first and second notices to members. Answers incoming calls in the department queue. Ensures that the Credit Union's professional image is maintained. Follows Fair Debt Collections Practice Act.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent with emphasis on secretarial and business courses.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: General understanding of Member Solutions functions, policies and procedures. Familiarity with required computer applications.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: One to three years of similar or related experience. Experience in a financial setting preferred.
