    We’re seeking a skilled and experienced paralegal to support our growing legal team. The ideal candidate for this position will use their work experience and organizational skills to prepare and maintain legal documents, file motions, interview clients, and conduct legal research. Responsibilities: Gather information about legal issues from the client in interviews Coordinate law office activity, including the drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers Aid lawyers in trial preparation by preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, conducting research on legal articles, and assisting with client meetings and filing motions Assist lawyers in preparing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence including correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits Qualifications: 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting Candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preference Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills Strong oral and written communication skills • Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing client services including problem-solving • Knowledge of computer office programs, legal software, and telephones • Ability to make decisions quickly and accurately regarding complex situations and tasks • Ability to utilize independent reason and problem-solving skills with limited oversight in order to make accurate decisions • Ability to follow instructions and utilize problem-solving skills in order to meet crucial deadlines Preferred: • Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, and government regulations. Knowledge of Civil Procedure  • Familiarity/knowledge of landlord-tenant laws Compensation: $15 - $20 hourly
