About the Role

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role within Kenect ensuring the smooth operation of our organization. Your responsibilities will include providing timely and professional technical support to both our local and remote staff, all under the guidance of our IT Manager. This is a part-time position based in Pleasant Grove.

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
• Perform Equipment and Software Audits
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
• Provide orientation and guidance to staff on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
• Organize and schedule updates and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
• Maintain records of repairs and fixes.
• Follow maintenance schedule for updates of hardware and systems.

Skills & Qualification

• 1-2 years experience in Technical Support
• Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication ability
• Open to constructive feedback and learning opportunities.
• A love for solving problems.
• Scripting and automating abilities are a plus.
