Job Summary

We are seeking an Kennel Attendant to join our team! As an Kennel Attendant, you will spend your days tending to the animals under our care, including following guidelines for feeding, refilling water bowls and cleaning. You will also be responsible for ensuring the environment is clean and safe for all the animals as well as moving or socializing animals as needed. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with all types of breeds, can work on their feet for long periods of time, and can work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Follow guidelines to feed dogs, ensuring the proper dietary guidelines are followed

Clean and maintain pet enclosures so that every animal under your care has a safe, healthy living environment

Monitor the safety of dogs under your care as needed

Maintain proper records of all animals and care given throughout your shift

Qualifications

Must be comfortable working with animals of all sizes and types

Must be comfortable working on your feet for long periods of time

Willing to work in a positive team environment
