About the Role:

Hounds Town Atlanta - Smyrna is looking for a passionate and energetic Kennel Attendant to join our fun, dog-loving team! Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor dogs during group play sessions to ensure safety and positive interactions

Clean and sanitize kennel areas, play yards, and common spaces to maintain a safe and hygienic environment

Feed, water, and provide basic care for dogs in accordance with owner instructions

Assist with dog check-in and check-out procedures, verifying vaccination records and owner information

Identify and report any signs of illness, injury, or behavioral concerns to management

Provide attentive, compassionate care to all dogs, ensuring their comfort and well-being

Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding their dog's stay and daily activities

Requirements:

Genuine love and enthusiasm for working with dogs of all breeds and sizes

Ability to stand, walk, and be physically active for extended periods throughout the shift

Previous experience working with animals in a kennel, veterinary, or pet care setting is a plus

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow animal care protocols and safety procedures

Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays as needed

Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude

Comfortable handling large, energetic, or multiple dogs simultaneously
