Job Summary

We are seeking an Kennel Attendant to join our team! As an Kennel Attendant, you will spend your days tending to the animals under our care, including following guidelines for feeding, refilling water bowls, and offering treats and companionship. You will also be responsible for ensuring the environment is clean and safe for all the animals as well as walking or socializing animals as needed. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with all types of animals, can work on their feet for long periods of time, and can work well in a team environment. We are only accepting in person applications, NO PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS. Monday-Saturday from 10-4pm, and we are located at 721 Fair Oaks Ave South Pasadena, CA 91030. Entrance is through the parking lot up the stairs.

Responsibilities

Follow guidelines to feed all types of animals, ensuring the proper dietary guidelines are followed

Clean and maintain pet enclosures so that every animal under your care has a safe, healthy living environment

Socialize and exercise animals under your care as needed

Interact with the animals, providing a positive human experience

Maintain proper records of all animals and care given throughout your shift

Qualifications

Must be comfortable working with animals of all sizes and types

Must be comfortable working on your feet for long periods of time
