    Essential Qualifications:

    Must be 16 years of age or older to apply

    Reliable transportation and attendance

    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly

    Flexibility to work rotating weekend shifts

    Essential Duties:

    Provide care and husbandry to our boarding/hospitalized patients which includes but not limited to: providing clean food and water as scheduled; cleaning cages/runs regularly; laundering soiled bedding and towels; cleaning dishes/medical instruments; walking dogs safely outside for potty breaks and enrichment; bathing and nail trims as requested; organizing and administering oral medications; service tracking and record keeping; engaging with clients in a friendly and welcoming manner; recognizing and reporting patient concerns to veterinary staff; stocking supplies as needed.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    1 year or more of personal and/or professional experience caring for dogs and cats.

    Knowledge of companion animal behavior and handling, including exotic mammals and reptiles (a plus)

    Strong organizational skills.
