We are a boutique kennel for dogs only and we pride ourselves in providing the highest quality of care for the dogs entrusted to us. We train and board dogs of all ages and sizes. This is a hands-on position working in the kennel. Some of the daily duties include:

Perform daily cleaning and neatness of kennel and bathing rooms.

Monitor and document the health and behavior of boarding dogs.

Administer medication to boarding dogs as needed.

Perform cleaning/disinfecting protocols for kennel suites and outside runs.

Correct placement of animals for boarding.

Confirm specific feeding instructions on the kennel cards match those documented on feeding board and confirm medication instructions on the kennel cards match those documented on medication chart.

Ensure proper playtime allocations to dogs.

Perform baths.

Responsible for reporting any disrepair of equipment in the kennel such as the washing machine and dryer, cage dryers, air conditioners, heaters, and any other electrical or plumbing problem that may occur in the kennel or bathing rooms.

The employee must be able to lift, carry and handle objects weighing 60 lbs. (dogs and food).

Minimum requirements: Must be multi-task; be self-motivating; attention to detail, punctual; and the ability to work independently are required skills. Must be able to exercise good judgment.
