    Pack Leader (Dog Resort)- Dog Daycare Team What: A small, family-owned business in Waldo (KCMO) is looking to add to our Kennel Technician team/daycare team. Who: We are looking for dependable self-starters who love dogs! We work hard and play hard. How: Kennel technicians are responsible for overseeing and interacting with our packs of dogs and providing exceptional care. Dog knowledge is preferred, albeit not required, but the hunger to learn is. We promote 100% from within, so the opportunity to grow (and earn) abounds. When: Now! This is a full-time position with 35-40 hours per week obligation. This does include weekends and holidays, and will vary from week to week- a flexible schedule is a must! Our team of dedicated Pooches staff will guide you through cross-training during your first few months with us. This is a very physical and rewarding job with a great team and great dogs! Compensation will be based on experience and contribution. $13.50 - $15/hour. Pay raises will match your growth within the company. Holiday pay is at a bonus rate. Responsibilities: • Monitor and engage with our packs of dogs to ensure a safe and playful environment. • Provide exceptional care by feeding, grooming, and attending to the needs of each dog. • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of kennels and play areas to uphold our high standards. • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily tasks and share observations. • Assist in training new team members, fostering a supportive and collaborative work culture. • Observe and report any changes in dog behavior to ensure their well-being and safety. • Participate in team meetings to share insights and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications: • Experience in caring for and handling dogs in a professional setting. • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. • Proven track record of maintaining cleanliness and organization in a work environment. • Strong observational skills to monitor dog behavior and ensure safety. • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. • Experience in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and support. • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities. Compensation: $14 - $15 hourly
