    Job Summary:

    As an Insurance Sales Representative , you will help grow the Allstate agency by engaging with new prospects and building strong relationships with the community. You’ll work as a member of a service team focused on providing insurance products that help customers protect their homes, cars, and assets, and live a good life.

    As a Licensed Sales Professional, you will apply insurance knowledge and sales skills to increase the customer’s understanding of the value of insurance and cultivate long-term relationships as a trusted advisor.

    Insurance Sales Representative Job Responsibilities:

    • Be a team player to help grow the agency
    • Outgoing, goal-oriented and personable
    • Be organized and efficient
    • Help protect customers by offering insurance and financial products that will meet their needs
    • Conduct needs-based customer policy reviews and update coverage
    • Ensure a positive customer experience
    • Assist the team with goals and strategies
    • Maintain an x-date system and utilize x-date leads

    What we will need from you and teach you to do:

    • Confident self-starter who works well independently
    • Excellent verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills
    • Maintain a positive and self-motivated attitude
    • Sales experience is a plus
    • Caring to both customers and colleagues
    • Must be willing to obtain insurance licenses; already possessing a license is a plus
    • Process-oriented and focused
    • Ability to work multiple audit list in an established agency.
    • Ability to recognize cross sell opportunities with an established book of business.
    • Ability to network in multiple communities
    • Comfortable using technology for prospecting, binding and follow up
    • Ability to empathize with customers concerns

We work closely with the Saraland Police Department’s Child and Infant Car Seat Safety Program. We host several free community events each year to help ensure infant car seats are properly installed. In 2015, we partnered with several local municipalities to host our first Saraland Safe Kids Day — a great event to promote child and infant safety.

    We are designated as an Elite Agency, which recognizes our commitment to our customers and Allstate’s core objectives. We were the top sales agency for our coastal market in 2022.
