    Job Description

    Background:

    Kent, Campa and Kate Incorporated (KCK) is a federal contracting company that provides professional services to Government Agencies. We are currently seeking candidates for a NMFP Functional Analyst position.

    Position Description:

    The NMFP Functional Analyst provides program management, health informatics, analysis, data management, and project management support to sustain the operational computing environment for Naval Medical Forces Pacific (MEDPAC).

    Requirements:

    • ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE
    • EDUCATION MINIMUM: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Healthcare Management, Health Informatics, or a related field. Education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
    • EXPERIENCE MINIMUM: Five (5) years of experience in DoD Healthcare, clinic, and/or as a Functional Analyst, or in virtual health/telemedicine. Must also have experience with the Military Health System.
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with Senior Government customers and colleagues
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Exceptional time management skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, including pivot tables)
    • Travel is required
    • Pass a Full Background Investigation
    • Prior Military experience

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Master’s Degree

    Work Duties (including, but not limited to):

    • Perform analysis, development, and review of program administrative operating procedures.
    • Support one or more Project Managers and Regional leads.
    • Coordinate with Regional, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED), Medical Treatment Facility, and other Regional VH staff.
    • Coordinate with Regional staff and Subject Matter Experts of varying professions and domains.
    • Coordinate with Military Treatment Facility (MTF) providers, clinical, and administrative staff.
    • Coordinate with operational medical staff and leaders.
    • Perform document management, versioning, and routing/coordination of draft documents.
    • Facilitate knowledge management by collecting and distilling lessons learned and best practices.
    • Provide meeting support including meeting coordination, conference reservation, slide preparation/coordination, meeting materials readiness, attendance, minutes support, and action item tracking.
    • Generate marketing materials.
    • Approved social media management (e.g., milSuite).
    • Develop guides and support materials for Virtual Health.
    • Document workstreams and business processes.
    • Research commercial and other federal practices.
    • Conduct literature searches for issues and practices.
    • Prepare status report updates.
    • Facilitate coordination and status meetings.
    • Prioritize, refer, and support Project needs in the absence of the Project Manager (to the extent possible/practical).
    • Support and coordinate In-Progress Reviews, Program Reviews, and similar events.
    • Collate and analyze non-centrally pulled metrics and outcomes.
    • Prepare report specifications for new content including preparation of “how to’s” and guides.
    • Maintain key point of contact and stakeholder information.
    • Maintain VH directory.
    • Support Regional VH site and assist visits to MTFs and clinics.
    • Facilitate complex issues to reach consensus within regulations.
    • Support troubleshooting of VH process issues (non-technical).
    • Require capacity to be analytical in nature, able to navigate find nuances in organizational/stakeholder interpretation and multi-organizational regulatory guidance.
    • Comfortable in high complexity projects and processes.
    • Operates highly independently with little oversight and on multiple simultaneous priorities.
    • Analysis of business, functional, technical, activities, and events.
    • Document and strategize process improvements for current business processes.
    • Provide market research on conditions impacting the overall operational efficiency of the organization and identify symptoms for process improvement.
    • Travel is required. The NMFP Functional Analyst is expected to travel periodically both CONUS and OCONUS.
