Washington, DC family with one great teenage girl seeks daily, part-time help for transportation, errands, school-related support, etc. (starting in late August) This position is perfect for a graduate student or former teacher or a young professional with another morning activity. We need help from about 3pm-7:30pm, Monday through Friday. This is a multi-faceted job: we are looking for someone to assist our daughter with her life (picking up from school, getting her to and from after school sports, assisting with specific projects, etc.) and someone who can help us with other activities as well (running errands and more). The position is ideally suited to someone who has worked with teens and enjoys guiding young adults as they develop greater autonomy, responsibility, and decision-making skills. We are also looking for someone who is very well organized, flexible, and can anticipate issues and resolve them independently. You must have a valid and clean driver's license, speak fluent English, have prior work experience (ideally, with teens) and be fun to be around! We will provide a car for your use during work hours.
