Keto and Company - Email Marketing and Social Media Specialist

Keto and Co is hiring an Email, Social Media, and Content Marketing Specialist to join our rapidly growing company.  Email and social media communication are two of the most important ways we connect with our customers and we are looking to bring on a Marketing Specialist to help take us to the next level.  We’re seeking someone with a background in both email marketing and social media, a passion for good storytelling, and great communication skills.  Since we are a small startup, our ideal candidate is comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities and is excited by the opportunity of career advancement as our company expands.  Sound like you?  Read on.  

What will your role be?

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the development and execution of content marketing campaigns across a variety of platforms including email, social media, our blog and internal sites, and external partner sites.  As we launch new products, we want to build our audience and create a conversation with consumers.

What will you be doing?

Email

• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns
• Write compelling email content to engage and grow our community
• Report on campaign performance including lead generation, conversion rates, and content performance
• Identify areas of opportunity and improvement
• Partner with other members of the Keto and Co team to shape campaign strategy, messaging, content, and voice

Social Media

• Create and manage social media calendar
• Source and curate content
• Manage all Keto and Co social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
• Develop consumer promotions and giveaways
• Monitor news to provide timely and relevant posts
• Measure and report on post performance
• Engage with influencers and reply to comments on posts

Content

• Create and manage blog calendar
• Source and curate content
• Author and edit blog posts
• Engage with influencers to syndicate content and coordinate guest posts
• Assist in content creation for additional initatives and manage outside resources as needed (photography, video, design etc).

What are we looking for?

• Excellent writing skills and the ability to adapt writing style based on audience
• Experience managing social media accounts
• Experience creating and executing email marketing campaigns
• Excellent time management skills and ability to structure your own work
• Project management skills
• Flexibility to take on new projects as required
• Well organized with strong attention to detail
• Able to work efficiently in teams and as an individual  - able to work independently and take initiative, as well as collaboratively with a team
• 2 – 4 years professional experience
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Passion for food, ability to hit the ground running, sense of humor, and interest in building a new company are all favorable traits.

Experience with and passion for the keto diet is a plus, but, if you can be enthusiastic about how keto helps our customers' lives, following keto yourself is in no way required.
