    Job Description

    JOB OVERVIEW KDP is looking for a Beverage Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Product Manager to drive the roadmap, development, launch, operations and continuous improvement of KDP’s beverage PLM systems. This role will collaborate with the business Product Owner, user community and IT partners to deliver business and IT value while transforming delivery capabilities through agile practices and DevOps capabilities.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Be responsible for delivery and operation of beverage product lifecycle management (PLM) applications and technology projects supporting hot and cold beverages globally. Core systems include Infor CloudSuite PLM for Process (Optiva) and Labware.

    • Lead the development of the vision and roadmap for these systems in collaboration with our beverage PLM business partners and enterprise IT partners.

    • Lead the end to end planning and delivery of system capabilities to execute the planned roadmap, including management of on-shore & off-shore development teams as well as vendor partners.

    • Work closely with business and technical team to continuously improve the business processes across all sites and business units to meet evolving business needs.

    • Evaluate enterprise software capabilities and lead efforts to identify, prioritize and implement functionality to improve the efficiency of business processes and IT operations.

    • Provide leadership by researching and guiding the implementation of industry best practices.

    • Lead and facilitate cross-functional team meetings and efforts to implement optimal systems solutions.

    • Attend user group meetings and conferences to advance our issues, needs and desires with the product strategy and development groups within our applications and technology supplier base.

    • Work with the enterprise IT application and infrastructure teams to support enterprise IT standards and initiatives impacting PLM systems.

    • LEAD TEAMS OF VARIED SCOPE AND SCALE, INCLUDING:

      • Systems migrations from one applications platform to another.
      • Major/minor applications and/or technology upgrades and integrations
      • Major/minor applications and/or technology implementations.
      • Initiatives delivering business process improvement, regulatory/legal compliance and mergers and acquisitions
      • Day to day break-fixes and enhancements.
    • LEAD THE TRANSFORMATION OF DELIVERY CAPABILITIES FOR PLM SYSTEMS BY LEADING THE ADOPTION OF AGILE PRACTICES.

      • Embrace agile values of transparency, communication/collaboration, iteration/change management, strong technical design/attention to detail, working software, built-in-quality and respect for individuals, teams and continuous improvement.
      • Partner with the IT Lean Agile Center of Excellence/Agile Coach to build the agile transformation vision for Beverage PLM systems and continually assess and evolve the team’s agile capabilities in achieving that vision
      • Serve as IT Product Manager/Technical Product Owner
      • Support the development team in their full adoption of agile
      • Participate in and lead as appropriate scaled agile practices, including backlog management, capacity management, iteration planning, sprint planning and refinement, removal of impediments, system and solution demos, release planning, etc.
      • Collaborate effectively with value stream IT and Business stakeholders to help assure strategy and execution alignment
    • BUILD AND DELIVER THE ROADMAP TO IMPROVE OUR PLM SYSTEMS DEVOPS PIPELINE, INCLUDING OUR ABILITY TO

      • Continually build and test code
      • Manage and track code changes through source control tools
      • Deploy via automation
      • Measure and manage operational performance
      • Drive continuous improvement

    REQUIREMENTS

    • BA or MA in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field
    • 8+ years of experience with process PLM systems, including Infor CloudSuite PLM for Process (Optiva).
    • SaaS experience
    • Experience with Lab Information Management Systems (LIMS), in particular Labware
    • 3+ years of experience implementing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
    • Be well versed in DevOps tools, concepts and methodologies
    • Self starter with a drive for continuous improvement
