Key Services is a growing technology lifecycle management company specializing in logistics and break/fix services. We are looking for several experienced techs to join our repair team. This position requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Must be able to quickly learn to troubleshoot and repair a variety of electronic products. Responsible for inspecting, repairing, and testing customer and stock equipment. Contribute to company growth by determining the best cost-effective repair solution and help design new repair processes with our engineering team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
· Inspect and test customer and stock merchandise. This includes determining
component failures within whole units or assemblies (non-system board level).
· Repair electronic and mechanical equipment by fixing, or replacing faulty
components.
· Determine the most efficient and cost-effective way to solve problems.
· Troubleshoot and repair system boards to the component level (soldering,
de-soldering, use of electronic test equipment, component reprogramming and
replacement).
· Ability to troubleshoot without schematics.
· Determine end-of-life of units when the cost of repair is no longer financially sound.
· Communicate with team leader to complete jobs based off priority.
· Check with technical knowledge database for possible solutions as needed to complete repairs, and update with new processes.
· Train and assist other technicians as needed.
· Burn in equipment after repair to ensure problems are solved.
· Complete training on company Processes and procedures.
· Comply with company ESD standards.
· Maintain an orderly workspace according to the company housekeeping policy and
including appropriately labeled equipment, accurately marked shelf life materials,
and properly calibrated equipment.
· Adhere to target repair times and costs to increase company profitability.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Associates degree, comparable military electronics training or equivalent technical certification
Experience: 2 years hands on experience
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Ability to assemble/disassemble hardware components and troubleshooting skills, need to have soldering skills for board level repair.
· Must be familiar with Windows 7 & 10.
· Technical knowledge and experience repairing computer equipment from a wide range of manufacturers, including error codes, parts information and mechanical skills.
· Overall electronics knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to pay close attention to detail.
· Excellent problem solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
· Visual acuity, especially close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus when using microscope.
· Skilled at using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and measuring tools.
· Proven ability to prioritize, organize and efficiently manage time.
· Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
· Ability to lift 10-25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
· Strong fine motor skills.
· Skills in through-hole and surface mount electronic rework.
· OEM technical certifications preferred.
·Strong communication skills with customers and colleagues.
