This position requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The Shipping Specialist is responsible for shipping products via UPS, FedEx or LTL in a timely manner. Must be able to verify correct products and parts are shipped to customers, handle shipments with care to avoid damages, communicate with colleagues and work with minimal supervision. The right candidate is a team player who enjoys working in a fast pace environment and is open to cross-training and helping out in other areas of the warehouse as directed by supervisor. The Shipping Specialist must be available to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 am - 6 pm.

Job Responsibilities:

• Physically locate the boxes picked for shipping and create Ship Docs/Packing Slips
• Individually scan each box out of the system to maintain inventory control.
• Process out boxes through the shipping stations by scanning the Ship Docs barcode, printing and affixing shipping labels.
• Ensure correct box dimensions and weight are keyed in during the shipping process.
• Monitor that orders are shipped to the correct locations and correct ship method is selected.
• Ensure orders are sent out on a timely basis and that they meet customer requirements.
• Complete training on company Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) and Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).
• Comply with company ESD standards.
• Properly complete and file all required forms and paperwork.
• Maintain an orderly workspace according to the company housekeeping.
• Adhere to target times and costs to increase company profitability.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Education : High School Diploma and Fork Lift License highly desired.

Experience:

• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
• Shipping experience with UPS/FedEx/LTL equipment preferred.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proven ability to prioritize, organize and efficiently manage time. Ability to pay close attention to detail and recognize products and their components. Visual acuity, especially close vision and color vision.
