Key Services is a growing technology lifecycle management company specializing in logistics and break/fix services. We are looking for new techs to join our repair team. If you are looking for a gateway into the technology field but do not have a ton of professional experience, this is the role for you!
This position requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Must be able to quickly learn to troubleshoot and repair a variety of electronic products. Responsible for inspecting, repairing, and testing customer and stock equipment. Contribute to company growth by determining the best and most cost-effective repair solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
· Inspect and test customer and stock merchandise. This to include determining component failures within whole units or assemblies (non-system board level).
· Repair electronic and mechanical equipment by cleaning, fixing, or replacing faulty components.
· Determine the most efficient and cost-effective way to solve problems.
· Communicate with team leader to complete jobs based off priority.
· Check with technical knowledge database or “squad” leader for possible solutions as needed to complete repairs.
· Assist other technicians as needed.
· Burn in equipment after repair to ensure problems are solved.
· Complete training on company processes and procedures.
· Maintain an orderly workspace according to the company housekeeping policy and including appropriately labeled equipment, accurately marked shelf life materials, and properly calibrated equipment.
· Adhere to target repair times and costs to increase company profitability.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Military electronics training a plus.
Experience: 1 year Previous experience, while desired, is not essential. Applicants showing a willing to learn will receive training in repair processes, custom build assemblies and other emerging technologies.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Ability to assemble/disassemble components, general troubleshooting skills.
· Technical knowledge and experience repairing computer equipment from a wide range of manufacturers, including error codes, parts information and mechanical skills.
· Overall electronics knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to pay close attention to detail.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
· Visual acuity, especially close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus when using a microscope.
· Skilled at using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and measuring tools. ·Proven ability to work cohesively with fellow technicians and supervisors.
· Ability to lift 10-25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
· Strong fine motor skills.
· OEM technical certifications preferred.
