Brand Manager (Nutraceuticals/Dietary Supplements)
A full-service contract manufacturer of softgels, tablets, capsules, powders, and liquids for the dietary supplements and personal health care industries is seeking an experienced Digital Brand Manager/Director with strong marketing background in the nutraceutical industry to launch new product lines for multiple brands.
Currently, they have the largest softgel capacity in the United States, and are a leading vitamin manufacturer with multiple third-party certifications for GMP Compliance. They search the globe for the best raw materials and guarantee that all products will be manufactured in the USA.
This position requires ability to take create a marketing and branding campaign to Amazon, Google, Facebook, Instagram and various other social media platforms to generate new business and meet sales objectives. Ideal candidates will be based in Southern CA with ability to report to headquarters once a week to interact with team. Relocation is also a consideration. Salary + bonus and benefits included. Equity stake is also being considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Translating a vision for online marketing into a coherent digital marketing strategy
Developing and executing integrated online strategy with wider company marketing plans
Leading and managing digital marketing team
Enhancing e-commerce by increasing web visibility and traffic
Using PPC, SEO, email campaigns, blogs, forums, and other social media experience to generate leads
Understanding analytics and measuring ROI
Increase brand awareness
Making sure marketing plan is in alignment with marketing budget
Analyze marketing plan and performance using KPI’s
Working with senior employees in development of overall business plan
Track and review monthly on performance statistics for all digital communications across all channels, using these statistics to influence future digital activity.
Monitoring return on investment for the different online marketing campaigns.
Managing the organization's Social Media accounts ensuring all copy is relevant for the different platforms.
Managing the content diary for social media content.
Keeping up to date with changes and advances in social media and advising on new channels and approaches to adopt.
Manage Search Engine Optimization (SEO), PPC,CMS, Social Media, E-mail marketing.
Keep Amazon marketing and technical update and adapt to change
Constantly look for new channels to acquire more customer and manage back end sale
REQUIREMENTS
MS degree in marketing or a related field
3-5 years proven track record as a brand manager
Drive for results, and leadership skills
Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
Highly creative with ability to think out of box
Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
Comfortable working with numbers, metrics and spreadsheets
Excellent communication skills in the English language
Proven experience leveraging e-commerce for direct to consumer sales
