  • Responsibilities

    Exciting opportunity with a growing contract manufacturer of dietary supplements in the Greater Los Angeles area.  Responsible, individually and collectively, for driving new sales revenue, keeping the pipeline filled, formulating/ developing appropriate strategic alliances and partnerships, and achieving personal objectives related to driving profitable sales growth and market position in line with the company’s short and long-term business goals.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Participates in lead generation through cold calling, social media, leads and/or personal connections, proposal generation and closing of business opportunities.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and profitably grow $15 million in annual sales.
    • Achieves quarterly and annual sales goals, driving both new customer growth while driving strong engagement and loyalty with current customers.
    • Forms strategic alliances and cultivates long-lasting business relationships with clients through consultative selling strategies and, individually & collectively, leveraging the company’s unique customer selling proposition.
    • Monitors economic and industry trends to identify customer and product opportunities or threats to strengthen the company’s position in the market.
    • Plays a key role in the development & implementation of overall sales & customer strategy.
    • Executes programs, as appropriate, to drive demand & recognition of company’s brand and services.
    • Prepares Account Plans for the company’s top priority customers to ensure focus and alignment across the organization.
    • Leverages appropriate technology to improve effectiveness, efficiency and accuracy of sales data and reporting, including forecasting, CRM and sales pipeline management.
    • Communicates in a clear, effective and consistent manner across the organization and with customers, alliances, partnerships and vendors.
    • Represents the company at various conferences and other business events to promote company’s evolving products and capabilities.
    • Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum 5+ years in a sales role in the dietary supplement industry
    • Deep understanding and demonstrated knowledge of the dietary supplement industry, including key competitors, sales channels and go-to-market requirements, key trends and the quoting and product development process.
    • Bachelor’s Degree required (Marketing, Business or equivalent)
    • PC skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
