Our Client is a rapidly-growing, turn-key contract manufacturer specializing in powders for sports nutrition and nutraceutical companies. This is an onsite role with relocation assistance provided for qualified candidates.
Position summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to develop and implement quality systems and regulatory strategies to ensure overall quality and health and safety, as per health authority regulations.
Essential functions and responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the Company’s Quality, Compliance and Regulatory Affairs function to ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations in order to attain and/or maintain certifications.
- Develop and design best-in-class regulatory and quality structures, processes, and procedures based on expert understanding, industry experience, and insight into industry trends.
- Ensure product safety and regulatory compliance by continuous improvement of procedures, processes, and training.
- Hire and build regulatory and quality teams; assess and develop current and future staff.
- Create and manage department budget.
- Establish and preserve strong working relationships with executive team members and cross-functional groups to achieve company goals of Customer Satisfaction, Profitability, and Quality.
- Uphold company goals of customer satisfaction, profitability and quality excellence.
- Support Company with legal issues related to products.
- Perform additional duties as needed.

Work Days and Shifts:
- Position works primarily Monday through Friday.
Education/Certification(s)/License(s) required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience/Other required:
- Minimum of seven (7) years Quality and Regulatory & Compliance experience in nutraceutical and/or pharmaceutical industry.
- Computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, ERP and Quality Management Systems
- Must periodically pass random drug screening.
