    Our Client is a rapidly growing, innovative healthcare company focused on developing scientifically validated, naturally powerful supplements and medical devices to treat women’s common healthcare needs and improve their quality of life.

     We are looking for a dynamic leader to effectively manage the entire supply chain which encompasses raw material procurement, managing contract manufacturing and toll processing partners, production planning, as well as managing consumer product inventory levels at the company’s 3PL partners. The position also oversees the commercialization of new products that will necessitate an expansion of contract manufacturing partnerships. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

     Responsibilities

    • Manage contract manufacturers and toll processors to assure the timely production of company products.
    • Utilize production forecasting provided by Finance and Analytics Department to effectively balance inventory levels between growing product demand and managing cash flow and inventory costs.
    • Expand the manufacturing base to accommodate additional dosage platforms as required.
    • Negotiate supply and quality agreements to assure quality, service and price stability.
    • Identify and implement cost saving measures to contribute to profit optimization.
    • Manage 3PL fulfillment centers to optimize transaction costs while providing excellent customer service.
    • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to qualify ingredients, raw material suppliers and contract manufacturers.
    • Partner with Marketing on product packaging and labeling projects.
    • Collaborate with other senior managers across all disciplines to achieve growth targets.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or greater.
    • A minimum of 10 - 15 years related experience in Supply Chain management with an emphasis in the production of dietary supplement or ingestible OTC consumer goods. Additional experience in medical device or personal care products is a plus.
    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience at a Director or higher level exhibiting successful team leadership and management skills.
    • A track record of successful cost reduction initiatives.
    • An excellent understanding of Regulatory requirements and GMP standards.
    • Excellent negotiating skills.
    • Works well in teams; both as a team leader and as a team player.
    • Enjoys working within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
