    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Kforce has a client in Santa Ana, CA or remote that is seeking a Technology Business Analyst to work with Production, Operations and Information Technology personnel to identify workflow issues and define business requirements for technology specification development. They will ensure that all products have needed capabilities to increase productivity and usability. Duties:

    • This position will aid in designing and LOS in conjunction with external vendor
    • Works with CTO and Business Users to define product strategy and roadmap with prioritized features and corresponding justification
    • Consults with business staff to develop understanding of the varied and complex business needs (current and changing) supported by the system
    • Provides ideas and recommendations regarding the integration of the system in day to day business and the evolution of the system
    • Build effective relationships with business units/departments, outside vendors, and project manager in support of the systems and corporate processes and ensure the business needs have been met
    • Conducts research and analysis into the nature, effect and results of system problems
    • Assist and troubleshoot user computer application inquiries in a timely manner
    • Respond to requests via Asana to track details or steps taken to resolve issues and route problems/requests as reported
    • Review implemented system changes/improvements and provide feedback on overall effect to all users, including testing, documentation, and subject matter input

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience with business operations or systems development, or equivalent combination of education and experience in one or more specific areas of business, such as insurance, underwriting, financial, manufacturing, or Business Process Reengineering concepts and methods
    • Mortgage industry experience required
    • In need of experience with writing systematic workflows and technical specs
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to interact effectively with branch, regional and corporate personnel
    • Demonstrated analytical and negotiation skills with close attention to detail
    • Excellent computer skills, including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, VISIO, VB, other graphic software or similar programs
    • Ability to understand concepts governing relational database structures, use reporting/query tools, and construct SQL statements
    • Must be available to work all regularly scheduled hours, arriving at scheduled reporting time and at the prescribed time after any breaks or lunch periods
    • Must be able to work overtime, as required
