  • Responsibilities

    Kid to Kid is looking for a fun and friendly assistant manager who will help train and supervise multiple part-time employees. The assistant manager will also help appraise and process incoming product, and maintain an organized store.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Responsible for all management responsibilities including opening/closing, all day-to-day store operations, and all Team Members.

    Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, evaluating as well as the development of Team Members within the framework of Kid to kid policies, procedures, and the Team Members' job description.

    Manage and influence team by communicating clear company goals daily, weekly, monthly, and annually.

    Prepares schedules, reviews/approves electronic time sheets, and monitors labor hours.

    Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash accountabilities at POS registers/safe.

    Prepares and administers personnel and disciplinary actions and evaluations.

    Complete and maintain purchase orders, supply orders, petty cash and expense reports and ensure these are submitted in a timely manner.

    Accurately operate all store systems and ensure financial and statistical counts are completed (seller counts, production standards, etc.).

    Help ensure the proper handling and processing of incoming donation flow in and out of the store according to Kid to kid policies and procedures.

    Help ensure the timeliness of proper rotation of apparel and hard goods according to Kid to kid policies and procedures.

    Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Minimum of two (2) years of management/supervisory experience is preferred.

    Two (2) years of retail sales experience is preferred.

    Good computer skills.

    Excellent time management and organizational skills.

    Ability to communicate and interact well with a variety of personality types.

    Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holiday, evening, and weekend shifts.

    Must have reliable transportation.

    Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

    The ability to continuously stand/walk for duration of shift, frequently push/pull, occasionally bend/stoop/crawl/kneel/reach above shoulders and climb a ladder. Able to lift, up to, 40 lbs. (fixture parts, cartons of product).
