    We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technical development of our groundbreaking AI hardware device and software platform. Someone who can push the limits of innovation around running LLMs, machine learning algorithms, computer vision, and voice AI, on devices using a proprietary chipset. As a key member of the executive team, the CTO will drive the strategic direction of our technology roadmap, spearhead product innovation, and ensure the successful delivery of our mission-critical initiatives. Responsibilities: • Work with the CEO in developing overall technology product, software, and hardware strategy. • Led the technical vision and strategy for KID's AI device platform, encompassing hardware, software, and cloud infrastructure. • Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle, from concept ideation to product delivery, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives. • Drive innovation and research initiatives to identify emerging technologies and industry trends, leveraging AI, spatial presence, and collaborative functionalities to enhance our platform capabilities. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, design, and marketing, to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and deliverables. • Establish and maintain robust technical architectures, scalable frameworks, and secure protocols to support platform growth and expansion. • Recruit, mentor, and empower a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, prioritizing data privacy, security, and child safety in all aspects of product development. • Represent KID Company in external forums, conferences, and industry events, advocating for our vision and building strategic partnerships to drive growth and innovation. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred. • 5+ years of experience in senior technical roles, with a proven track record of leadership in technology development, preferably in consumer electronics, AI, or IoT. • Strong expertise in software development methodologies, architecture design, and cloud-based solutions, with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. • Deep understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision, with experience integrating AI capabilities into consumer-facing products. • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire teams, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. • Passion for leveraging technology to empower creativity, education, and community engagement, with a commitment to ethical and responsible innovation. • Experience working in startup environments or fast-paced, agile development teams is a plus. Compensation: $200,000 - $210,000 yearly
