WHY IS THIS ROLE OPEN AND WHAT WOULD MY SCHEDULE LOOK LIKE?

As KidStrong continues to grow and evolve and KidStrong centers continue to open around the USA and Canada, we will need coaching, training, and teaching professionals to add to our training team who can travel across the U.S. (and beyond!) to train the KidStrong Coaches in their respective center.

This role is approximately 50-75% travel for 24 to 42 KidStrong Coach certifications per year, with traveling as often as 6-15 days per month.

A typical schedule for this role would be Monday - Friday

This role is based in Frisco, TX and would require commuting to our HQ.

As a key member of the training team, this role will play a critical part in helping build future KidStrong franchisee coaching and leadership teams.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and experience in coaching athletics, kids and/or adult fitness, teaching and/or fitness training.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with the KidStrong HQ Leadership Team on franchisee training and coaching protocols

Help develop and create specific coach training tools and coaching guidelines

Travel the USA and Canada leading KidStrong Coaching Certifications

Participate and lead 25-42 certifications in a calendar year across the U.S. and beyond

Work closely with the KidStrong Programming and Curriculum team in order to provide the most effective and up to date training

Provide leadership and direction for franchisee developers

Help build and develop a high performing training team in line with the company values

Ensure continuous improvement and innovation, demonstrating the ability to maintain high standards in line with the company’s core values and beliefs.

REQUIREMENTS

2+ years of proven experience in coaching, training, teaching or relevant industry

A passion for working with children, fitness, coaching & teaching

Experience at presenting to large audiences

CPR and First Aid Certified

Proficiency using Google Docs/Trello/Slack

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Ability to travel the USA and Canada on a consistent basis
