ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership and Operations

    Partner closely with the Managing Partner and Board of Directors to develop the company’s roadmap for growth.

    Develop an operating framework that scales.

    Evolve the company from a super-fast growth startup to a national, scaling business.

    Make sure we’re investing in the right places, using cash wisely, being thoughtful about discipline and balance, etc.

    Create a positive culture of mentorship and professional development as the KidStrong team grows.

    Be a role model for the organization.

    Provide mediation and issue resolution for internal roadblocks and implementation of standards and controls to avoid future conflict.

    Coach, encourage and give feedback to managers and staff.

    Customer Success

    Ensure that KidStrong is providing consumers with an exceptional experience within its four walls that will deliver growth and meet sales targets.

    Implement processes to increase customer satisfaction and retention rates while reducing churn.

    Align with the marketing, product, and operations teams to optimize the end-to-end customer experience.

    People

    Oversee the development of people strategies, including but not limited to talent management, recruiting and onboarding, compensation/payroll, benefits and organizational development.

    Build and scale the team to support continued growth and innovation.

    QUALIFICATIONSThe CEO will be a senior executive with CEO/President/COO or P&L/GM experience as EVP/SVP, and a proven ability to take a company through substantial organizational and revenue growth. In other words, someone with high credibility walking in.

    10+ years of experience in progressive roles of increasing P&L responsibility in multi-channel environments including e-commerce, integrated marketing, digital marketing, retail/wholesale, consumer products.

    Experience with kids’ concepts is a plus; passion for working with children is a non-negotiable!

    Extremely hands-on with proven ability to lead multiple functions and levels as CEO / COO or GM in a high-growth startup and/or hyper-growth environment.

    Combination of large and small company experience is ideal. Comfortable with role as individual contributor as well.

    Track record of implementing Objectives-and-Key-Results-based benchmarking philosophy to drive operational results.

    Demonstrated ability to increase revenue through analytical marketing techniques and partnerships/alliances.

    Strong understanding of online consumers’ behavior and analytics.

    Proven ability to communicate, influence and lead through organizational change / growth.

    Experience in leading and building teams in an empathy based, high performance culture across all levels of the organization, scaling and improving operations to enhance the customer experience, managing and driving marketing, business development.

    Keen market insight & vision – established ability to see trends before they take shape and leverage them, adjusting strategy based on constantly-changing market conditions.

    Ability to identify new market and product opportunities.

    Ability to simultaneously manage and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

    Experience working with Board of Directors, investors and outside advisors.

    Strong in organizational planning and development; proven leader and manager with an innate ability to hire and inspire really strong people.

    Clear, repeatable, and consistent operating framework – this person has a model of scaling teams and processes that works.
