Teachers are responsible for the daily planning, management, and supervision of the classroom and children. Lead Teachers: * 2 years of applicable experience in a licensed child care center or preschool * Completed Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education / Child Development or related field * Completed Unrelated degree accepted with North Carolina Credentials and an additional 12 semester hours in early childhood coursework Assistant Teachers: * North Carolina Credentials * 6 additional semester hours in early childhood coursework * 2 years of verifiable child care experience All applicants must have a current criminal background check, TB test and physical or be willing to receive prior to employment. Prefer candidates with qualifying letters from Workforce and Criminal Records, CPR/First Aid Training, ITS-SIDS (if applicable), and knowledge of ITERS and ECERS.
