KIDS FIRST EARLY INTERVENTION is seeking per-diem Special Education Teachers to provide direct services to children birth to 3-years-old, through NYC Early Intervention Program. SUMMER POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR SCHOOL TEACHERS! 

LOCATION: Bronx, Queens, and Manhattan

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Candidates for Early Intervention Special Education Teachers Birth- 2nd grade position must be certified in any of the following areas:

• Students with Disabilities Birth through 2nd grade- Initial or permanent
• Social Worker (LMSW) or (LCSW)
• Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH)- Provisional or Permanent
• Teacher for Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)- Initial or Professional
• Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA)
• BILINGUAL A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Responsibilities and Duties of Early Intervention Special Education Teachers Birth - 2nd grade:

• Provide 1:1 instruction consistent with best practice in ABA therapy
• Daily data collection
• Implement behavior intervention plans
• Collaboration with parents and other Early Intervention providers
