    KidStrong is a fast-growing child development program with centers located across the US, as well as an online platform (KidStrong University). Our science-based curriculum focuses on brain, physical and character development for ages walking to 11 years old, taught by professional coaches, and parent-focused.     KidStrong is looking for a full-time Accounting Manager to join its HQ team based in Frisco, TX. The Accounting Manager will work closely with the head of accounting, the COO and the HQ team on day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be a tech-savvy self-starter with a strong work ethic, top-notch time management and organizational skills, excellent written communication skills, the ability to problem-solve and work independently, and strong analytical skills. A keen eye for detail, ability to learn complex systems quickly, and comfort working in a fast-paced and flexible work environment are necessary. The Accounting Manager is a creative problem-solver, super detail oriented, a do-er who derives joy from checking things off the list and getting things done as a critical member of the HQ team! A passion for fitness, kids and education are a must. There is a ton of growth potential for a successful candidate in this position.

    The Finance Manager will:

    Work the equity center's books, and HQ (QuickBooks and Gusto) for monthly reconciling.

    Provide project management and administrative support for HQ team to keep day-to-day running smoothly;

    Process payments for invoices as needed

    Process fees and royalty payments for franchises

    Maintain and report on budgets for the company

    Process payroll for equity centers by-weekly

    Process and make payments for quarterly sales tax's by center for equity centers

    Work disputed chargebacks through my IQ system

    Participate in weekly team meetings;

    Complete other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    Must demonstrate excellent communication skills;

    Must be self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful;

    Must possess excellent follow-through and attention to detail;

    Must be flexible – able to adjust to changing priorities, and multi-task under pressure

    Must have the ability to work within a team and independently;

    Must be an A+ team member, looking to dig in and make an impact;

    Must be able to work both at home, in the office and attend meetings in-person as required (approx. 60/40 split)

    Must be able to quickly learn new technologies.

    Education/Experience Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree, in business, administration, finance, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

    Above-average skills in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets;

    Familiarity with QuickBooks and Gusto is a plus

    Red-pen proofreading and editing skills are on point;

    Experience with Google products (Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Docs, Slides)

    Appreciation for a well-placed gif, and a sense of humor are non-negotiable.
