KIESLER POLICE SUPPLY is currently seeking to hire a RECEPTIONIST! Our ideal candidate would be a professional with excellent attention to detail, outstanding communication skills, and an appreciation for problem-solving. Your continuing mission will be to support and contribute to the accounting team. WE ARE LOCATED IN JEFFERSONVILLE, IN, AND DO REQUIRE OUR EMPLOYEES TO COME INTO THE OFFICE (THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION).

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. Prior experience as a receptionist is also helpful.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answering phone calls and front gate.

• Sort & mail & email invoices from the previous day.

• Create & file FET packets.

• Filing away accounting copies of invoices & credits.

• Sorting through mail & faxes for each recipient.

• Putting together daily ACH payment spreadsheet.

• Invoicing & receiving drop ship invoices from vendors.

• Monthly employee credit card reconcile.

• Checking & sorting of 4473 background checks.

• File Department letterheads & FFL’s.

• Mailing out check payments.

• Other Duties that arise during the normal course of business.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Quickbooks experience a plus.

• Attention to Detail: must be detail-oriented and organized, able to prioritize tasks, manage time, communicate progress, and meet deadlines.

• Able to work well with others. Must be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

• Able to learn and adapt quickly. Also, able to receive and learn from constructive criticism.

• Able to learn and use software effectively.
