    What You'll Do

    • Develop custom software applications and scripts to enhance automation capabilities and solve real-world business challenges.
    • Design, implement, and maintain seamless automation solutions.
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and design tailored software solutions.
    • Integrate various software systems and data sources, leveraging your understanding of APIs, REST principles, web technologies (HTTP, etc.), and authentication protocols (including OAuth).
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within automation workflows and custom applications.
    • Implement secure software solutions that prioritize client data protection.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance efficiency within client workflows through custom software development.
    • Work across a variety of industries, expanding your knowledge base with each unique challenge.
    • Stay current with AI, automation, and software development trends and advancements, continuously developing your skillset.

    Requirements

    • Strong proficiency in programming and software development, with expertise in languages such as Python, TypeScript, or similar.
    • Demonstrated passion for generative AI, prompt engineering, and automation.
    • Experience in developing and maintaining custom applications and scripts.
    • Solid understanding of APIs, REST principles, and web technologies (HTTP, etc.).
    • Expertise in authentication protocols, including OAuth.
    • Comfort working with data formats like JSON and XML.
    • Proficiency with Docker for containerization and deployment.
    • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
    • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, including development, testing, and deployment.
    • Experience in API development and integration.
    • Demonstrated integrity and a strong commitment to data security best practices.
    • Must be comfortable working in a Windows environment.
    • Ability to quickly grasp new software concepts and technologies.
    • Responsible problem-solver with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
    • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and explain technical concepts.

    Nice to Have

    • Experience with cloud-based solutions and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
    • Background in business process analysis or optimization.
    • Experience with SQL for database interactions.
    • Knowledge in systems administration or network administration.
    • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
    • Experience with other automation platforms (Make.com, Zapier, Power Automate).

    Compensation and Benefits

    • $40 - $75 per hour, commensurate with experience and skillset, as an independent contractor (1099).
