    THE ROLE:

    Kiira Health is looking for a Head Women's Advanced Nurse Practitioner with clinic set up experience. You'll be our go-to nursing leader for ensuring the best patient care possible at Kiira Health. This role will be responsible for working collaboratively with physicians and leading other healthcare professionals to provide primary and women's health care Including; obtaining histories, performing physical examinations, diagnoses, treat and monitor chronic diseases, order and interpret diagnostic studies, prescribes and select medications, immunizations, and other treatments. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience and possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with professionals, administrative staff, and patients.

    GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: 

    Primary responsibilities include managing Kiira's clinic, supervising clinical staff, and providing care to patients.

    • The Head NP leads as a clinic supervisor and administrator while providing excellent patient care
    • Performs physical examinations, confers with patients in person or by video, collaborates with others clinicians to assure smooth flow of patient care consistent with established quality indicators and participates in the overall coordination of patient care
    • Identifies the health status of patients by taking medical histories, performing examinations, and initiating and evaluating screening and diagnostic procedures.
    • Initiates appropriate therapeutic intervention based upon assessment and evaluation of the health status of the individual.
    • Determines which cases to refer to the licensed physician for further diagnosis and treatment; serves as clinical consultant to nursing and paramedical personnel
    • Consults with supervising physician or other clinicians as dictated by patient need and assessment findings
    • Reviews medical record for follow up or ordering of diagnostic studies under established protocols
    • Establishes effective working relationships with members of the health care team, patients, and families
    • Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties/activities of health care team members
    • Participates regularly in staff development activities for the clinical team

    SKILLS: 

    • Excellent customer service and communication skills. 
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and collaborate at all levels of an organization.
    • Supervisory experience/charge nurse experience is required. 
    • Expert administer of IV injections, IV infusions and performs and show expertise in laboratory tests. 
    • Ability to oversee scheduling and appointments and has the ability to effectively train and communicate Kiira policies and procedures to new hires.
    • Evidence of a strong financial and operational acumen, including a broad knowledge of information technology.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • You're a board-certified Advanced Practice Nurse, with BSN or MSN 
    • Active and unrestricted licenses in the state of California
    • Minimum 5 years of experience.
    • Experience in Women's Health.
    • Must be able to work in interdisciplinary teams
    • BLS Certification (Preferred)
    • Highly tech-savvy
    • Proven success in developing and motivating staff and teams while accomplishing key strategic objectives.
    • Must be able to work in the Los Angeles clinic
