    Cambridge International Systems has an immediate career opportunity for a System Administrator supporting ESS and CCTV Systems to join our team in Stuttgart, Germany. Qualified candidates for this job must possess an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

    The System Administrator will:

    • Perform administrative duties in a Microsoft and Cisco centric environment.
    • Maintains and administers scalable, reliable, and well-performing server solutions.
    • Maintains and administers a wide range of applications in the server infrastructure taking into account respective system resource consumption patterns over time.
    • Troubleshoot server and systems issues
    • Administer additions, changes, and removals in the server infrastructure
    • Manage and allocate storage, memory, CPU, and other resources
    • Develop plans, processes and procedures to ensure the server availability, reliability, scalability and other performance goals
    • Manage and verify backups of systems and servers
    • Work with application vendors to troubleshoot problems that arise in the environment
    • Research and coordinate technical issues and requirements related to systems and solutions
    • Travel to various locations within Europe to perform preventative, and corrective maintenance on mission critical information systems.
    • Perform service maintenance to include scanning, updates, upgrades, and hardware replacements.
    • Configures operating systems in accordance with the latest DISA STIGs and IAVA/IAVMs

    • The ability to multi-task and prioritize
    • Commitment to maintain pace with evolving technologies and products
    • Excellent comprehension and technical writing skills

    Required Experience

    • Bachelors Degree in an engineering field plus five (5) years of recent specialized experience 
    • At least five years of experience of performing ESS installation and sustainment projects in DoD facilities
    • US Citizen with a valid passport
    • Pelco Endura Certification / Pelco VideoXpert Certified Solutions Specialist
    • Microsoft SQL Certification
    • Cisco CCNP – Routing and Switching
    • CompTIA Network+ Certification or equivalent
    • CompTia Security+ ce
    • TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility
    • Ability to live and work in Germany. Must meet TESA eligibility criteria or Germany Ordinarily Resident criteria
    • Knowledge and understanding of Electronic Security Systems (ESS), up to and including ACS, CCTV, IDS hardware and software
    • Previous direct experience working with OCONUS Defense, Military, or Federal Government customer in support of OCONUS Government operations
    • Prior experience in a DoD environment preferred
