    YOUR NEW OPPORTUNITY

     

    An exciting opportunity has become available for Road Service Patrols to provide professional and courteous assistance to our members and commercial customers who experience the inconvenience of an unexpected vehicle breakdown. Using superior automotive knowledge, safely diagnose and effect possible roadside repairs as efficiently as possible, within the scope and terms of the applicable cover, or co-ordinate alternative arrangements to minimise the disruption for the Member/ Commercial clients. This role will suit individuals who enjoy providing exceptional customer service and have good diagnostic abilities to help our members get back on the road.

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Carrying out safe roadside repairs and diagnosis using your extensive automotive knowledge and skills
    • Effectively utilising the battery testing equipment and SOPs to aid battery fault diagnosis and communication of the results and implications, including sale of batteries
    • Complying with all relevant WH&S Legislation, policies and procedures
    • Be prepared, focused and courteous with every customer interaction
    • Maintain your stock levels to ensure you can provide the customer with the best solution
    • Attend and actively participate in team meetings, coaching sessions, and training sessions
    • When possible, promote all RAA Services and Product offerings
    • Conduct yourself in a proactive manner to ensure you can provide exceptional service to your next customer

     

     

    WHAT WILL SET YOU APART FROM THE REST

     

    At RAA we hire on cultural fit first and technical fit second, however, to be successful in these roles you will need:

     

    • Minimum trade level Certificate III in automotive - mechanical or electrical (Mandatory)
    • Automotive industry background essential
    • Knowledge of vehicle operation, components and current-day diagnostic practices in a variety of makes & models of vehicles
    • Ability to work ‘shift work’
    • Current ‘Class C’ drivers licence essential
    • Physical fitness to withstand exposure to the elements and occasional long hours
    • General administration/clerical/computer skills
    • Excellent fault diagnosis/ technical skills
    • Highly effective interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills

  • Qualifications

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

    • Current Kentucky license or valid compact state license. 

    • BLS certification – American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider) required, must be current.

    • ACLS and PALS Certification preferred or within 90 days of employment or transfer to the department.
