Job Description

 The Warehouse Technical Manager is managed, jointly by the Director of IT Services and the Warehouse Operations Manager. The person is responsible for providing support across all warehouse technical functions. This position is exempt. As part of the Jeffree Star Cosmetics and Killer Merch teams, you are responsible to learn, understand, represent, and contribute to Company policies, procedures, and philosophies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Supervise the shipping operations area in the warehouse

·       Train, strategically move, and support shipping operations resources to establish maximum output

·       Monitor information systems via mobile devices and warehouse displays to maintain constant awareness of operational needs

·       Install hardware and troubleshoot technical issues with computing equipment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Shipping Area Supervision

·       Monitor temporary staff in the shipping area

·       Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the operational lines

·       Quickly realize and implement changes to relieve bottlenecks and inefficiencies

·       Collaborate with team members and external departments on warehouse needs

·       Ensure that the requestor is receiving exceptional customer service

Warehouse Logistic Support

·       Understand inventory levels and movement

·       Understand product fulfillment workflows and apply best practices daily

·       Keep shipping area organized to ensure staff safety and efficient operations

Monitor, Install, and Troubleshoot Systems

·       Monitor status displays and dashboards

·       Monitor for issues with technology, software, and hardware

·       Provide basic software and hardware troubleshooting in the shipping area

·       Swap hardware for spares to relieve work-stop issues in the shipping area

·       Escalate intermediate and advanced technical issues to the appropriate team member

Technology Projects

·       Track assigned requests in the ticketing system to completion

·       Complete assigned projects and tasks within the agreed upon SLA

·       Test and verify technologies implemented by the IT team

Management of Application, hardware, and Infrastructure

·       Install and configure software and hardware to support shipping operations

·       Troubleshoot basic technical issues and outages

·       Monitor performance escalate anomalies to appropriate team member

Management of Security

·       Comply with all Company security policies

·       Ensure temporary staff in shipping area adhere to all physical and technical Company security policies

General Department Tasks

·       Complete training to maintain knowledge about software and hardware for Jeffree Star Cosmetics and Killer Merch

·       Improving department performance by studying organizational goals, strategies, practices, and user projects

·       Identify logistic or information technology strategy, policy, and procedural gaps

·       Miscellaneous departmental tasks

Emergency Response Management

·       Stay current on which people and systems resources are needed to handle a variety of emergency technical issues – from Internet service outages to system failures, and other work-stop issues

Requirements

·       2+ years of experience in Warehouse Operations or related functions

·       1+ years of experience in Technical Support or related functions

·       Degree or certificate in Technology or related disciplines

Additional Requirements

·       Willing to work overtime and on weekends as needed

·       Able to perform tasks requiring frequent bending, stooping, and lifting objects

·       Able to lift to 60 lbs.
