Children’s Martial Arts Assistant Instructor We are seeking a Children’s Martial Arts Assistant Instructor to join our organization! This individual will plan and teach age appropriate classes for preschool and elementary-aged children. Responsibilities: • Instruct and assist children in martial arts lessons designed to promote intellectual, physical and creative growth • Create a fun and safe learning environment • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents • Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress • Maintain the health and safety of all students • Conduct private lessons, orientations and sales presentations Qualifications: • Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields preferred • Passionate about working with children • Ability to build rapport with children and parents • Positive and patient demeanor • Excellent verbal communication skills • Must be minimum 18 years old with a minimum of 2 years martial arts experience • Must be able to pass a background check Employment: • Part-time hours and full-time hours available starting immediately • Compensation starts $10-15/hour, based on experience & qualifications • Discounted memberships available for staff and their family Apply: • In person Monday – Thursday 3pm – 7pm @ 1760 S Woodland Blvd, DeLand (preferred) or email resume
