    SENIOR ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY Kimbrough Legal is adding a Senior Associate Attorney to our growing team. An ideal candidate is an experienced licensed family law attorney who assists the Managing Attorney in the production department. The Senior Associate Attorney is an advocate for clients, advising them on the best course of action in reaching their case goals. The Senior Associate should have substantial litigation and trial experience and be able to independently manage a caseload. The Senior Associate will serve as a resource and mentor for associate attorneys. Why Join Us? Benefits of Working for Kimbrough • Competitive Salary, DOE • Bonus Structure • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance • 401(k) • Paid Time Off • Paid Holidays • Professional Development/Continuing Legal Education Assistance • Positive Work Environment Responsibilities: • Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with associate attorneys to provide legal advice • Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff • Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients • Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings • Communicate with associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently • Oversee and manage billable hour expectations for staff members Qualifications: • Candidates must have passed the bar exam • Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients • Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA) • Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base • Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school • Admission to the Texas Bar • Minimum of 5 years of experience handling family law cases (non-negotiable) • Ability to track billable hours • Advanced knowledge of computer technology and the Internet (MS Word and Excel) and the ability to learn new programs easily • Multi-tasking skills and the ability to work well under pressure • Attention to detail and accuracy • Reliability and dependability • Problem analysis and problem-solving • For working from home: fast internet connection (20MB+) and a quiet work environment for receiving and making professional calls • Over 5 years of prior management experience or similar work experience in an office environment Compensation: $140,000 + Bonus
