    Job Description

    Established manufacturing facility in Huntington Beach is looking to add an experienced Assistant Customer Service Manager to their growing team! In this important role, you will be supervising the activities of the customer service team, while ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction. This is a hands on role, meaning delegating work to the customer service team while also performing all the tasks of a customer service representative yourself on a daily basis.

    OVERVIEW:

    • Acting as a back up to the Customer Service Manager as needed
    • Guides and directs customer service team towards achieving operational goals.
    • Constant communication with customers via e-mails, phone calls, mail, etc.
    • Trains, coaches, and mentors employees to deliver top notch customer service.
    • Performance evaluation.
    • Making sure the customer calls are handled/answered in a timely and accurate fashion.
    • Educating customers about company products or services.
    • Maintains in-depth working knowledge of the company’s products and processes.
    • Able to satisfy customer requirements in a professional manner while adhering to company  policies.
    • Solving customer issues to their overall satisfaction.
    • Acts as liaison with other departments for order and service completion in a timely manner.
    • Providing recommendations to management concerning staff and improvement of procedures.

      

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree 
    • 4+  years of hands on customer service experience
    • Must be self-motivated and eager to grown and learn
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
