    A premier heavy civil and marine general contractor, offering extensive experience with marine and transportation infrastructure and serving the West Coast of the United States and Canada. The project portfolio includes various foundation works and marine structures such as docks/piers/wharves, cofferdams, breakwaters, and dredging. Other specialty services include design-build, emergency response, and environmental remediation. The company is looking for motivated team-oriented construction managers and engineers to support their exciting projects and continue their tradition of leading the heavy civil industry.

    ABOUT THE POSITION:

    Hiring for a Project Engineer, responsible for the gathering, calculating and compiling of data for the engineering and business functions of a project. As well as provide technical engineering information to company supervision and field crews to ensure construction work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications and design instruction applicable to one or more disciplines. 

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.

    Demonstrated ability to implement, utilize, and manage the cost management process including quantities, cost reports, forecasting, labor reports, and documentation & recordkeeping.

    Ability to efficiently perform the contract administration functions including correspondence, document control, daily reports, and change order/claims preparation.

    Ability to efficiently perform the project administration processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and subcontractor/supplier correspondence & tracking.

    Demonstrated proficiency to develop, analyze, and maintain complex project schedules.

    Demonstrated understanding and a working knowledge of the Safety and Crisis manuals.

    Rudimentary knowledge of survey.

    Strong computer skills including ability to use Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook. 

    Ability to give oral presentations using PowerPoint.
