Our client is a leading designer, marketer and wholesaler of everyday kitchen food prep and home cleaning products, selling across nine categories: Kitchen Gadgets, Cookware, Bakeware, Food Storage, Cutlery, Mops & Brooms, Dish Brushes, Rubber Gloves, and Lint rollers. The Company sells its products to over 500 customers in the U.S. and Canada across the grocery, mass merchant, specialty, dollar, off-price, club and eCommerce channels. Products are brought to market under various company brands: Good Cook, Casabella, Clean Ones, Evercare, along with strong licenses: TFAL, Bialetti, Betty Crocker, Mr. Clean and Clorox. Private label is also a core competency.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Vice President of Distribution & Customer Logistics is the strategic leader across the Company's distribution centers and 3PLs and is responsible for ensuring the company's every day operational activities run smoothly and effectively. The successful candidate will oversee the supply chain from inventory receipt to customer delivery, including order fulfillment, transportation/shipping and inventory management. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing new methods to achieve cost savings while delivering best practices in warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and freight.
A minimum of 10+ years' professional experience, with previous experience in a supervisory or management role as Director or VP of Logistics in consumer products.
An undergraduate degree in business, engineering, supply chain, finance or a related field.
Extensive experience with JDA (Red Prairie) WMS knowledge as well freight and order management systems.
