Self performing: grading, paving, sewer, and water utilities and operate in both private site work and public works markets.  ABOUT THE POSITION:

Hiring for a Superintendent, responsible for overseeing the management of underground dry utilities projects. Including: project schedule, customer satisfaction, on-time completion, and profitability. The Superintendent will provide management and leadership to Foremen, assigned crew members, and subcontractors of varying sizes of projects; ensuring they are maintaining productivity, safety, QC, scheduling, and a multitude of other factors that lend to successful project completion. The Superintendent will be responsible to hire and manage multiple crews to allow for growth of division. The expected volume of growth expected is to initially build and manage $2M worth of joint trench work and grow the division to $10M. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• 10+ years experience with underground dry utilities.
• Must be familiar with local utility inspectors and specifications.
• Must have experience as a Superintendent/Foreman for 10+ years
• Must possess PG&E certifications.
• Must be able to hire and develop crews.
• Must be knowledgeable of regulations relative to job sites; project management, ratio requirements for crafts, applicable job duties per craft, prevailing wage standards, etc.
• Plan, organize, and direct work and production in accordance with contracted scope of work.
• Build and maintain relationships with Foremen, Estimators, customers, vendors, inspectors, other trades, etc
• HCSS heavy job.
