    Our client provides engineering services to contractors. They have been in business for 10 years and provide quality designs to companies constructing both large and small infrastructure projects across the country.

    ABOUT THE POSITION:

    Seeking Engineers with up to 10 years of experience for a position designing and planning temporary structures for the construction of Heavy Civil projects across the country.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Applicants must have an EIT certificate and proficiency in Autocad and must be capable of producing technical drawings for bridges and various structural systems. 3D drafting skill in any of the following platforms is required: Autocad 3D, Civil 3D, Inventor, or Sketchup. Familiarity with each of these platforms is preferred. Familiarity with the integration of LIDAR data or Photogrammetry Data into technical drawings is beneficial. The engineer will be working under a Licensed Professional Engineer with the expectation that they will obtain their California Civil P.E. while working with the client. The engineer will have the opportunity to become proficient at the design of numerous types of systems using an assortment of materials. Systems include falsework, excavation shoring, building and bridge demolition, scaffolding, rebar cage supports, access trestles for cranes and heavy equipment, retaining wall and foundation design, seismic and wind analysis, fall protection systems, crane rigging, culvert and open channel design, concrete thermal analysis, and concrete forms to name a few. Materials include steel, concrete, and wood. This position requires strong technical skills as well as strong verbal communications skills. Applicants must be self-motivated and eager to take on challenging and creative design work.
