    SUMMARY

    An electrical contracting company that services many of the region's Fortune 500 companies, building management companies and specialty general contractors and also New England's fastest growing contractor and have quickly become the region's premier provider of electrical services. 

    Hiring for a full-time Electrical Chief Estimator to join our industry leading team. This position oversees procedures, processes, techniques and personnel which make conducive decisions for assigned projects. The Chief Estimator is the primary member of the estimating team who has overall responsibility for the creation of budgets and estimates. They are responsible for the oversight of the estimating process for all projects bids and will establish standardized procedures, methods and processes for estimating and training. This position will oversee analysis and are responsible for preparing and completing bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. One should be able to determine construction costs by collecting and studying information, evaluate bid specifications and drawings, ensure they have all the requirements to successfully bid and win the project(s.)

    QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    • Manage all aspects of the estimating processes while meeting deadlines and company objectives, both short and long term
    • Research to provide accurate, complete and competitive pricing
    • Maintain relationship with customers to define the project scope, address deficiencies, negotiate pricing and build relationships
    • Provide leadership, direction and training for estimating team members
    • Prepare and present completed estimating packages to company executives and senior management
    • Oversee the entire estimating process on all bid projects and accurately forecast future probabilities

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of 10 years of estimating experience
    • Commercial, Institutional and Government projects preferred
    • Proficient in software (Accubid preferred)
    • Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Must be organized, detail-oriented and efficient
    • Able to provide a high level of customer service
    • Must be able to pass a background check
