Our client Develops, Owns, and Operates Utility Solar (Renewable Energy - Photovoltaic) projects throughout the United States.  

We are looking for a UTILITY SOLAR DESIGN ENGINEER.  

The right candidate will be familiar with design, construction, and commissioning of large scale solar PV facilities and utility distribution systems; with a focus on DESIGN. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to live and work in Austin, TX
• Must have 3+ years of professional experience in the Utility Solar Industry, focused on Design, Engineering, working with development, commissioning, and knowledgeable of utility distribution systems.
• Must be able to work with in-house engineering as well as 3rd party engineering teams to evaluate outsourced engineering design for accuracy.  
• Must understand Federal and State codes and guidelines for Utility Solar Photovoltaic design and construction.  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• MUST have documented success working with Utility Solar Projects 70MW+
• Preference towards individuals with an Electrical Engineering degree, but acceptable work experience in lieu of education will be considered.
