    ABOUT THE POSITION:

    Hiring for a customer service focused Supply Chain Analyst to also function as a Project and Customer Service Coordinator. The Supply Chain Analyst (SCA) uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain processes. They have responsibility for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support SCM planning and operations and to inform and adjust customer expectations as the Supply Chain Analyst will also be charged with project and customer service coordination. 

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Familiarity with logistics and production planning concepts and a strong understanding of contracts and pricing, used to analyze the movement of products through the supply pipeline and record them in the ERP.  An accomplished SCA can monitor current processes, identify and analyze gaps, and develop process improvements. The SCA is expected to use their skills in database management and spreadsheet analysis to help the business increase company productivity. Should also be able to communicate relevant information directly to customers clearly and concisely. 

    KEY DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF A CUSTOMER FOCUSED SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST WOULD INCLUDE:

    • Gathers and interprets relevant data (costs, productivity, demand patterns, etc.)
    • Investigates problems, finds root causes, and develop solutions
    • Develops performance reports and distributes them to stakeholders
    • Coordinates delivery schedules and other supply chain activities
    • Maintains active communication between departments and with the customers.
    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
    • Familiar with logistics and production planning concepts
    • Understand contracts and pricing
    • Ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels
    • Strong project management skills
    • Customer focused attitude and style of communcation
