    Job Description

    The Marketing Specialist for Kind Lending’s growing Retail channel and related verticals reports directly to the SVP of Marketing and Business Development.  The specialist will work directly with the line-of-business channel leaders and sits within the larger marketing organization. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for setting the vision and delivering substantive strategies to propel the growth of the channel. This role will obsess over the wants, needs, pain points, hopes and dreams of our loan officers and develop innovative marketing and technology solutions that enable them to grow their businesses.

    As a specialist, your ability to identify the white space in the market to better serve our customers is a main key to the channel’s growth. Our mission is to enable loan officers to attract new customers, stay in front of (and delight) existing customers, deepen relationships, and enable our clients to become a dominant online branding force for their business, all of that plus being outrageously creative.

    Your mission at Kind Lending TPO is to carry forward our marketing strategy, from brand development and management, through product and price differentiation, to acquisition and retention. Marketing audiences include (but not limited to) business-to-business as you support efforts to reach real estate agents and business-to-consumer as you support loan officers reaching homebuyers.

    In this role, you’ll leverage the resources and talent of the entire marketing department –– to market to, and for, our Kind Lending, LLC. You’re the specialist, but you have a team behind you to enable your success!

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Marketing Specialist of Kind’s retail channel is responsible for delivering the vision and substantive strategies to propel the growth of the channel
    • Your mission at Kind Lending is to participate and add to the holistic marketing strategy from brand development through product and price differentiation, to acquisition.
    • Marketing audiences include (but not limited to) business-to-business as you support efforts to reach real estate agents and business-to-consumer as you support loan officers reaching homebuyers.
    • Acts as a strategic partner to leadership team with deep industry, external, and enterprise knowledge, recognizing and anticipating emerging trends and identifying operational efficiencies and opportunities with other business management/enterprise areas.
    • Leads tactics to develop, socialize, gain buy-in for, and implement strategic plans designed to meet the channels short- and long-term marketing objectives.
    • Leverages a variety of marketing tactics across owned, earned, and paid media.
    • Maintains a deep understanding of competitive landscape and channel nuances.
    • Establishes a presence within our retail loan officer community to become a voice and face for the brand, coaches in online community and social best practices.
    • Establish KPIs for all programs, create results forecasts, and track performance to ensure marketing plans are delivering expected business outcomes.
    • Plan, direct, and coordinate the efforts of matrixed team and cross-functional team.
    • Participates in and leads proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2+ years of marketing experience in mortgage is preferred (real estate and housing industry will be considered)
    • Bachelors in Marketing, Communications or similar business degree preferred
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Skill in managing budgets, P&L and resource allocation
    • Skill in talent development and performance management
    • Ability to make an impact, influence and achieve results with effective negotiation, problem-solving and communication skills
    • Strategic thinker with ability to concurrently delve into details
    • Strong ability to prioritize, reprioritize, and pivot quickly
    • Results-oriented self-starter
    • Demonstrated experience reporting, analyzing, interpreting, and researching information
    • Demonstrated experience working with non-technical users to determine needed specifications
    • Demonstrated experience with attention to detail, written and oral communication, time management, multi-tasking, and working in a team atmosphere adhering to tight deadlines
