    Job Summary

    We are looking for an energetic teaching assistant to join our team! You will be assisting the lead teacher with planning and implementing both whole-classroom and small-group instruction.

    Responsibilities:

    Work alongside lead teachers to implement curriculum, lessons, and activities

    Provide assistance to lead teachers with daily classroom management including diapering/toileting, feeding/meal times, naps, and more

    Assist with cleaning duties including cleaning and sanitizing of toys, furniture, and work spaces

    Provide assistance to lead teacher with planning engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for students

    Interacting with parents through face-to-face conversations and written communication

    Updating student activity logs through parent engagement app to ensure parents are properly updated on their child's daily activities

    Documenting learning through photographs and videos and creating observations

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or GED

    Ability to pass a state and federal background check

    A year of previous teaching assistant experience preferred

    High-energy with a love of working with children

    Organized and detail-oriented

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

    Ability to sit, stand and kneel and ability to see and hear all children at all times
